Visit to Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum

13 members enjoyed their visit to Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum on Tuesday. Lunch in their cafe was followed by a 3 hour stroll round the exhibits, in four halls, 1906 to the present day. Some of us were escorted round by Tony Pinney who was able to show us two of the actual aircraft he has flown. Sue Cavendish had the bragging rights on Concorde – about thirty flights – though the development aircraft was not one she flew on. There were several car driver volunteers, so thanks to those who drove us.
