  • Peter Bourke enters 2020 OSTAR

Peter Bourke is the first skipper to confirm his entry to the 2020 OSTAR.

Peter has again entered Rubicon, an Outbound 44 mono, which he previously sailed in the 2009 OSTAR. His last crossing was made harder by early equipment failures – losing his wind vane and autopilot as well as suffering rigging problems. He made the brave decision to continue racing, hand steering most of the way, and finished in 41 days – an impressive feat of seamanship.     Peter is looking forward to an easier and certainly faster crossing this time.
