Overview
The Ullman Sails Regatta Series is an event offering a refreshingly new format combining competitive technical regatta type racing alongside expert coaching. Delivering the added ingredient of also being a training regatta with on-the-water coaching, followed by in-depth video debriefs back in the clubhouse after the days racing.
The expert team from Ullman Sails will be out on the water offering targeted advice on sail trim, rig setup and boat handling and will be back in the clubhouse afterwards to go through the events of the day offering expert tuition and education.
This unique “training regatta” format allows for on-the-water coaching and video debriefs, which is typically prohibited under racing rules.
Run over three Sundays, one in May, June and July with four races back to back on each of the three days making a total of 12 races in the series.
Competitive racing, expert insight and a friendly atmosphere are all part of the package and it is an event not to be missed by those who want to stay ahead of the chasing pack by improving your racing skills, boat handling and crew work.
For competitors a free of charge berthing stopover, for a couple of hours after racing, has been arranged with QAB Marina, details of which can be found on the Notice of race and Sailing Instructions, to enable competitors to join in with the post racing social and prize giving.
