13 Mar Lonely Rock Race – Entry Fee Update

Since November 2019 the RWYC have been working tirelessly to pull the ‘Lonely Rock Race’ together. Thanks to all those volunteers involved, we have come a long way in a very short space of time.

It is with great excitement that we can now share some news.

We have managed to secure a number of backers, partners and sponsors for the race who will be announced soon.

We promised from the outset that any sponsorship received would be re-invested into the ‘Lonely Rock Race’ and its competitors.

We are delighted to announce that we have secured a REDUCED ENTRY FEE FOR ALL competitors!

We can also announce an ‘Early bird’ reduction for entries paid in full by Monday 4th May. The same entry closing date of Friday, 5th June applies.

The Royal Western Yacht Club is standing by our word; the ‘Lonely Rock Race’ is for the competitors and not for making huge profits for the Club.

We would like to thank all our sponsors, partners and backers for their support and hope that this will be reflected by seeing a great entry to this classic race!
